Specialist repair work to this 16th century barn has resulted in a really attractive café and exhibition space.  The main barn and outside area are dog friendly.

Using great quality ingredients, sourced as locally as possible, everything is home-made so allow for a bit of ‘wonk’ but come and enjoy specialist coffee from The Monmouth Coffee Company, homemade cakes, light lunches and afternoon tea – this is the perfect pit stop after a bracing walk along the South Downs Way or a gentle dog walk from Storrington or Washington. The cycle racks and fix-it station make it an ideal stop for the intrepid cyclist too.  Please come and see for yourselves!  A warm welcome awaits!

Accompanying the café is an informative and interactive exhibition on the history of Sullington and farming on the Downs which is housed in the 16th century barn; the early 20th century lean-to extension has been converted into a charming and stylish, modern café environment.

Just East of Storrington, come off the busy A283 on to quiet Sullington Lane and keep going until you find the farm and church next to one another.  Parking is on the roadside opposite the church and feel free to use the Rector’s or Organist’s spaces if there is no service in the church when you visit.  Sullington church is always open and is a beautiful, peaceful place to spend a little time.

Level access to the South Downs Café and, separately, via a ramp to the exhibition.

If you have any queries please call Gail or Grahame on 01903 745754
