Byre Cottages, at Sullington Manor Farm, offer spacious, self-contained, single storey accommodation and facilities in each cottage include everything to make your holiday really comfortable. If you are looking for a place to live rather than just sleep then self-catering is ideal.
The Kittle family are delighted that visitors from all over the world come to stay in Byre Cottages and we are proud that many return time and time again: for the beautiful countryside and magnificent views, the tranquility, terrific walking country, the convenience of our location and, we hope, for the friendly welcome they receive. Our visitors often send us letters when they return home.
Byre Cottages provide the ideal accommodation for visiting friends or relations in the Storrington area, whether for a wedding or other social occasion, allowing everyone enough space to relax whilst being close by - and - allowing you to entertain your family and friends at Sullington Manor Farm.
Byre Cottages are five spacious cottages sleeping 2, 4 or 6. Each cottage has been attractively converted from Victorian stables and overlook a huge tithe barn which bears the date 1685 (reputedly when it was restored rather than built) on one of the timber beams. Byre Cottages form part of the ancient hamlet of Sullington which dates back centuries and includes the Church, Tithe barn and many farm outbuildings. Sullington Manor Farm is a traditional beef farm on 500 acres of the beautiful South Downs National Park. We are sorry but we can not accommodate pets.
Guests have the use of an outdoor swimming pool with springboard and slide, tennis court, table tennis table, private patio areas, and can enjoy many footpaths and walks, including the South Downs Way, across this beautiful, peaceful location on the South Downs. Children are welcome to collect fresh eggs daily from our free range hens, visit Duchess our Tamworth sow and make friends with Amber and Digby, the farm dogs.
Sullington Manor Farm and Storrington are well located in the centre of Sussex for easy access to Chichester and Brighton and the beaches of the south coast are approx. 30 minutes drive. London is 1 hour by regular train service.
